Detox diets have become very popular recently and for very good reason. With toxins entering our body from an alarming amount of sources, it has become necessary to follow a DETOX DIET to rid our body from these toxins that trigger poor health. Not carrying out a detox program that incorporates a detox diet, causes you to risk developing many minor and major health issues.

One health problem that is very common but many people are unaware of is food intolerances. It has recently been reported that over half the population of America has some form of food intolerance.

The majority of food intolerances come from toxins and undigested food passing through the intestinal wall into the bloodstream causing the immune system to go crazy as well as get a bit confused between what is good and bad. The result is that the immune system reacts against normal food, causing symptoms like headaches, aches, pains and inflammation in the joints, bloating, wind pain, bad breath, skin problems and many more. With the amount of toxins in our environment and the over use of drugs, preservatives and bad diet, it’s no wonder that over half of the population suffers from some form of food intolerance

Everyone will react differently to different foods but there are some common ones that people generally react to and a good detox diet should take them into account, they are

  • Wheat.
  • Yeast.
  • Foods that contains gluten
  • Dairy.
  • Sugar
  • Oranges and apples.
  • Food additives and preservatives.
  • Oats
  • Corn

To achieve a total and complete detox there are many factors that must be dealt with that contribute to creating a vicious toxic cycle in the body.

Food intolerances are one of them.

As I explained above, food intolerances are caused by an over reactive immune system which has been created by toxins within the bloodstream, when the immune system is in this state, it creates nitric oxide which contributes to the toxic cycle. Therefore a detox program and detox diet that does not take into account food intolerances will be fighting an uphill battle to achieve a full and lasting detox.

There are a number of other factors that also create a vicious toxic cycle but unless your detox diet does not take food intolerances into account then a lasting detox will not be achieved.
