People are becoming more aware of the benefits of a Colon Cleanser to
clear the bowl, but do they really understand what a
colon cleanser does and it’s purpose.
I don’t think so because of the overuse of juices as a colon cleanser.
Ok, it is time to get a bit controversial and say that fasting does not achieve a lasting sustainable detox and I will even go further by saying that Juice fasting will only add to exasperating your toxic levels in the long term.
Before you start thinking that I have gone crazy, let me explain
The objective of a colon cleanser is to clear the intestinal track of parasites, built up and impacted waste etc. but most importantly, to clean and flush the cell lining of the intestine. This is done so that it can regenerate itself into a healthy cell lining.
Why is this so important you ask, well this is where the nutrients from the food you eat passes through to the bloodstream, but it is also where toxins can leak through as well. This lining must be clean and healthy to function properly and efficiently and prevent toxins passing through to the bloodstream.
In most cases after completing any fasting that clears the bowel you will feel some benefits but if the type of
colon cleanser you have used has not flushed clean the intestinal wall then after a few months you will be back where you started.
Fasting alone will not flush and clean the intestinal wall.
Using juices as a colon cleanser can be a big mistake. Juices are full of glucose, when these are used they feed candida which, as I mentioned on this page, grows and creates more toxins and therefore fuelling the toxic cycle further.
You may have experienced this if you have tried juice fasting, I see
and hear people carrying out Juice
fasting all the time in the hope to detoxify
their bodies. Predictably they feel better
for a short time but because they have

worse than when they started.
This is another reason why a
candida diet and herbal remedies should be incorporated in a detox program along with colon cleansing if you are to obtain a true sustainable detox.
It is upsetting seeing people put themselves
through certain diets or juice fasting
in the belief that they are detoxifying
their bodies when they actually could
be achieving the opposite in the long
term.
To achieve a sustainable detox for better long term health, flushing clean the intestinal wall is one of the most important processes and using the right colon cleanser is vital to your outcome.
